Who is your Avatar in business?

We are not talking about the blue humanoids that you may have seen in the 2009 science fiction film called Avatar. In this lesson, the term avatar refers to “An icon or figure representing a particular person.”

In business application, an avatar is a representation of your ideal client/customer. A business may have multiple avatars representing several target demographics.

You cannot run a successful business, until you know exactly who your target market and ideal customer group is. It took us a while to work out our ideal avatars, and this is also continuously changing as the property market changes, demographics in suburbs changes etc.
